Where does KOTAI ship?

We ship worldwide.


How much does shipping cost?

We offer free shipping in the EU and US. Worldwide shipping is free for orders above €150. By using top-tier courier services, we ensure that your package arrives in a safe and timely manner.


When will my order ship?

Orders are shipped within 1-3 business days. Business days are Monday-Friday; Local Holidays, Saturday and Sunday, are not included in shipping days. You will receive an email with your shipment tracking information, and you will be cooking delicious meals in no time.

 

Where will my order be shipped from?

All orders are shipped from our global warehouse in France.


How long does delivery take?

Shipping typically takes 1-3 business days. Business days are Monday-Friday; Local Holidays, Saturday and Sunday, are not included in shipping days. You will receive a tracking number shortly after placing your order.

Estimated delivery time:

- France: 1-2 business days

- Europe: 1-3 business days

- USA/Canada: 2-3 business days

- Asia/Australia: 3-5 business days

- Rest of the World: 5-15 business days


I have not received my order, what should I do?

Please check the tracking number that was emailed to you. In the event you do not find the details, please email us at help@kotaikitchen.com with your order detail, and we will look into it immediately.


CUSTOMS DUTIES & TAXES


We cover duties and taxes for shipments to all EU countries + USA. Customers from these countries will not have to pay additional fees beyond the product price.

Orders from DOM-TOM region will need to bear the duties and taxes often called as “octroi de mer” as it is not a part of the EU Customs Union.  

Orders from other countries such as the UK, Switzerland, Canada and most of the countries may be asked to pay duties by their local customs.


MODIFY AN ORDER

Can I modify an order I already placed?

We process orders as fast as possible, so once you have placed an order, we are typically unable to make adjustments to your shipping address or items. If you need to make any changes or cancellations, please send us a note at help@kotaikitchen.com as soon as possible with the subject line "Changing my order" or "Cancelling my order", and we will do our best to help before your order ships out.


MONEY-BACK GUARANTEE

KOTAI is committed to your happiness. If at any time within 90 days of receiving your KOTAI knife you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may contact us, and we will process a full refund* with the return of your KOTAI knife. Please email help@kotaikitchen.com to arrange a return or exchange your product.


Your KOTAI knife has been engineered for exceptional durability, from the sourcing of the finest materials to the proprietary manufacturing techniques used.

That is why we are proud to back all KOTAI knives with a lifetime warranty in the case of manufacturing defects. 

Knives with personalised blade engraving cannot be returned in case you change your mind, but they still benefit from the lifetime warranty in case of manufacturing defects. 

 *Please note that KOTAI will bear the courier charges of the return in the event of manufacturing defect only. Otherwise, the same shall be borne by the customer.  


WHAT IS COVERED UNDER WARRANTY?

Knives : 

Covered under warranty : all composite materials and handcrafted of the knife when used within our defined appropriate use of item.

Exclusions under warranty : inappropriate usage, including but not limited to : used as a tool, use in Dishwasher, for frozen items, accidental falls.

Duration of warranty : Lifetime Warranty

 

Accessories : 

Covered under warranty : all composite materials and handcrafted of the knife when used within our defined appropriate use of item.

Exclusions under warranty : inappropriate usage, including but not limited to : used as a tool, use in Dishwasher, for frozen items, accidentals falls.
